The Békéscsabai Vállalkozói Centrum Kft. (Entrepreneurial Centre of Békéscsaba Ltd.) was founded by the Municipality of Békéscsaba in 1992.
The mission of the company is to promote the establishment and operation of local SMEs, and to participate in the elaboration and implementation of the town's economic development plans.
The company has been operating a Business Incubator Centre since the 1st of January 1994, and provides infrastructure - offices, workshops, shop premises, store-rooms - as well as different administrative and consultancy services for small and medium size enterprises.
We rent out approximately 5800 m2 space in several buildings for different businesses. Many of these companies are manufacturers and some of them wholesalers, retailers and service providers. An avarge of 40 ventures are working in our continuously expanded premises employing about 250 persons in total, and their aggregate annual sales revenue exceed 2 billion HUF.
We promote the development of our settlement and the region with plans, studies and development projects.
The largest present project we work on is the realisation of the Békéscsaba Apple-Garden Industrial Park.
